21 March 1944 - I./JG 26
Gentlemen,
according to Donald Caldwell's splendid JG 26 War Diary - Vol. 2, p 233 - Obfw. Johann Edmann from 4./JG26 was shot down and killed by P-51s on 21 March 1944. I have no information concerning this loss as neither the WASt reports in my possession nor the GQM Summary Loss Returns mention this loss. Has anybody out there access to the missing information / data and is willing to share it with me ? KR Jochen Prien
