Who sank French liner MEKNES?
Hi guys
Not aviation-orientated at all, but .............. I can't seem to find much on the Web about the sinking of the French liner MEKNES, sunk on 24 July 1940 by S-boat attack. The ship was repatriating French officers and men to France. I believe the S-boat was S-27 but am not sure if the commander was Klug or Buchting. Hopefully some with knowledge can advise me. Thanks Brian |
