The type and range of the on-board radio in the Me 109?

2 qestions:

a) What type of on-board radio/s was/were in Me 109 D and E-1 in 1939?

b) What was the practical range of on-board radio in Me 109 Ds and E-1s in 1939 (pilot to pilot)?
