How to know what unit strafing a convoy in Normandy, 24th Aug 1944 ?
Good afternoon everybody,
I do have few infos about several a/c from USAAF which have strafing and destroyed a convoy in Normandy, close to Evreux & Louviers. The scene did take place probably the 24th August 1944, so I do wish to know which fighter group of USAAF (maybe RAF) it was ? And how to find a victory claims list for ground target ? There were more than 20 tanks, trucks, Flak and light vehicles destroyed. PS : there is a possibility that the scene take place the 23rd or the 25th Aug 1944. Thanks in advance. Loic
