08/04/1943 "abschuss" or not ?
I notice that for the same event,the information are not identical,even from famous authors.
According to Prien,Erwin Janke ( 6/JG 77) gets its 7th abschuss in Tunisia(a P-40) the 8/04/1943. For Shores,that day,Lt Dumkow(6/JG 51) and Fw Stanneck (4.(H)/12) claim each a P-40. "Quid" of Janke: abschuss or not for him ?? michel best regards
