Celestino Martínez Fierros
Hi Folks,
Celestino Martinez Fierros was one of the Spanish communist pilots who joined the Soviet VVS during WWII and flew an Il-2 Sturmovik attack plane. He has sacrified his life when he flew into the German convoy -with his burning plane- he was attacking near Szekesfehervar-Balaton in March, 1945. Can any of you tell me the DAY he lost his life and the Il-2 unit (ShAP) he belonged to? Thanks, Gabor
