Pilot Officer Patrick G.M. Hancock - 615 Squadron
Hello,
Pilot Officer Patrick George Magin Hancock (90606). His name is reported in the ORB of No.615 squadron at the outbreak of war. On 3 october 1939, it is written in the document that "Acting Pilot Officer Hancock posted to No.151 Squadron with effect from 4th october 1939".* But the name of a Pilot Officer Hancock reappeared in March 1940, only in form 541, with several patrols from Saint-Inglevert : - 15 March 1940 : 14h05 - 15h10 ; 16h50 - 17h30 - 17 March 1940 : 14h05 - 15h10 (N5587) - 19 March 1940 : 07h15 - 08h30 ; 14h50 - 15h50 (NN583) - 26 March 1940 : 12h05 - 13h50 (N5577) The name disappears from the ORB after this last date. Does anyone have any informations / details about Patrick George Magin Hancock ? (according to the London Gazette, he was transferred to the administrative branch in November 1940 : https://www.thegazette.co.uk/London/...5005/page/6872 ). And Pilot Officer Hancock of September 1939 and March 1940 could be the same person ? Thanks in advance. |
