Two probably unknown Ju88 losses (Lfl.1?) Aug.42
Hello gentlemen,
according to Kriegsmarine documents, 3.Aug. or 4.Aug.42 Ju88 made a crash landing "bei Wistina (südl.Glinki)" (somewhere on the south coast of Finnish Gulf). 1 crewman was badly wounded, 3 - slightly wounded. 21.Aug.42 Ju88 was damaged by AA fire over Lavansaari island (west of Leningrad) and after the fighter attacks had ditched in Kotka area. Crew was rescued, the plane had drowned. 1st loss was maybe less than 10% damage but 2nd was certainly 100%. Can't find both cases in GQM returns. Any ideas? Best regards, Andrey
