Ken Charney's Spitfire
According to AH Charney flew Spitfires EP467 and EP471 in Malta in October 1942. This
databasehttp://www.worldnavalships.com/directory/aircraftprofile.php?AircraftID=1&Page=45&Results=2 0349 shows these are Spitfire Vb - but not tropicalised. I know that there were a number of these in Malta in 1943 but had thought all those in 1942 he Vokes air filters. Can anyone confirm they were indeed non-tropicalised Spitfires? regards Keith |
