KG 26 He111 Colour home movie - Summer 1940
Believed to have been shot in the Summer 1940 in France.
The sequence begins with the packing of aircrew parachutes and inflatable dinghies; although carried as standard, may suggest over channel ops? No idea as to the air base but the He 111s which are being bombed-up/taxing and taking off have under fuselage hard points. Also featured are yellow nosed 109s and other bomber types, plus the aftermath of a rather nasty He111 crash.
