Re: JG1 on 27 December 1944
Hello,
this battle was fought over the Motor Racing Aera Nürburgring, for both sides an well known landmark in the Eifel. Most of the 190 crashed in that aera. Ltn. Eduards Millers (he was one of the few none german pilots!) was wounded and used his parachute. He spent the rest for the war in an hospital. In the 1970's he lived in Venezuela. Most of the fallen Flugzeugführer rest at Adenau War Cemetary. I'm for sure that no of the JG 1 ever reach the Dinant aera!! h. Last edited by hanshauprich; 8th August 2017 at 18:26.
