JG1. BF109 crash 1944, help required

Seeking details about Uffz H Zinnen from JG1, I think he was shot down on Christmas day 25-12-44 in a BF109G- 14 crashing at Olzheim.

Did this happen ?
What was the reason and, has his 109 been recovered recently?
