Captured French D.520 info needed Serial # 534 - Code Question....
Hey guys...
This is what info I do have: D.520 GC II/1 Regia aeronautica – 13th Gruppo 82 squadron. Le Luc – 11/1942 Pise-Metato - 07/1943 Captured by the Germans - 09/1943 Coded 78 "6" I guess I am confused on the "code" system that is being shown. Does not appear to be French or German code...and I have not been able to find any pics of a German captured D.520 with those markings... Thoughts? TIA
