Damaged HE111 2./KG27 25 Apr 1944
I'm still trying to dechypher my Leistungsbuch.
The 25 Apr 1944 it is noted that their HE111 from 2./KG27 were attacked by 3 fighters and that the bordschütze and bordmechaniker were wounded. My guess is that the damage to the HE111 was minor as they landed at 11.25 from that mission and they took off at 23.30 that same night for their next mission. The mission where they were attacked by fighters was from Focsani Rumania to Tiraspol Moldova and back. Does anyone have a damage report for this? Perhaps the damage was too small to be reported. Thank you in advance Peter
