Japanese Fighter Techniques

I am interested to find out if there were any noticable differences between the Japanese fighter pilots' tactics and pilots in the European air war.

I am researching the Ki-84 type and am wondering from which angle of attack it would tackle a formation of B-29s for example?

What about allied fighters such as Hellcats?
