Hawker Hurricane cockpit canopy
Hello All,
I see that you have people, such as Timothy, who are familiar with real Hurricanes. I am interested in the sliding canopy detail, in particular how the clear view window operates. I have looked at many photographs, and only found one which MAY have the window open, indicated by a shadow on the fuselage. Not clear whether this is a stray item, or if it hinged outwards. I expected the lower front window to slide back behind pane 2. Cheers for now, Mike |
