Unknown markings on a He 70
Hello,
I am looking into a loss and once again I met the wall!! The matter concerns an He 70, where the pilot Stemmer belonged to Luftdienstkommando 1/7, crashed with it and were killed together with the BM on July 17. 1942 The plane had Wnr. 1132. The markings are like this: U.D.I.N. I simply don't understand this. Is it a simpler way of writing UD + IN? Does anyone know more about this? Thanks in advance, Christian
