Death of Oblt. Christian Wunder on 21 Feb. 1945
Good morning,
According to deZeng and Stankey, Oblt. Christian Wunder was "21.02.45 Oblt. and Staka 3./KG(J) 54, KIA during a fighter-bomber attack on Giebelstadt airfield." Can anyone provide the details of the circumstances of his death? Was it in the air or on the ground? Thanks in advance, Jim
