Hmmm...………..I don't doubt you for a minute, Franck, but one aspect of this still seems a little strange. The PK correspondents and photographers typically visited a unit, did their story and took their photos, and then departed, usually within a few days or weeks of their arrival. But these are all captioned and accredited to one unit, 297. ID, and span the course of the war 1941-45. This is not consistent with the usual pattern for the PK people and how they operated.
