RAF 248 Sq - Sgt Bell/Sgt Parnell
Hello,
I have Chris Goss' Bloody Biscay and Simon Parry's book on Beaufighter Squadrons and think I've matched up a photo there of Sgt/Bell/Sgt Parnell's JL447 with the Jan 30, 1943 loss records in Bloody Biscay's appendix. Are there any known photos of these two flyers (perhaps identifiable in the Portreath photo in same Red Kite book)? Also, where would be the best place to start to find background information on them - hometown, RAF background, etc.? BTW, I really enjoyed both books very much. Thanks, Donald Anderson |
