Harold Kenney, 357th FG

Hello,

Is there anybody able to tell me whether Harold M. Kenney is still alive today and how I could contact him or his relatives. Pilot 1st Lt. Harold M. Kenney (O-810514) served with the 363rd Fighter Squadron/ 357th Fighter Group.

It is generally supposed that Lt. Kenney was an evader after being shot down, August 17, 1944, over Charleroi (Belgium) flying P-51D, 'Billy’s Bitch'. He bailed out in the vicinity of Charleroi after attacking a marshalling yard. According to his wingman he jumped just north of Charleroi. 'Billy’s Bitch' (s/n 44-13522) continued onwards and finally crashed 25 miles further north, in the village of Ottenburg, Belgium.

Any information on Harold Kenney’s whereabouts or his relatives or information on where and how I’m to order his evasion report would be much appreciated.

Regards,
Dirk
