ETO F-4/F-5 Squadron code XX
I'm struggling to identify a possible Lockheed F-5 unit that might have carried the squadron markings XX on the aircraft booms.
Some one posted an image of a crashed P-38 or more likely an F-5 which has the codes C and XX on the tail boom. The C is forward of the XX, with the C positioned on the radiator bulges. I can't seem to find a list of ETO squadron codes, the fuselage letter/number codes.
