Maj. Herbert Lutje activity 14 March 1945
Hi,
I’m interested in seeing is there any combat reports or recollections survived of the activities of Maj. Herbert Lutje Wing Commander of NJG6 on the evening of 14th/15th March 1945. He has a claim of one 4 engined bomber shot down that night. (At 2120hrs) If there are any details of the base he operated from and/or take off time and landings etc. would be much appreciated. Any surviving accounts of his combats from that night at all. Thanks all for any info Regards Aaron.
