RAF No.4 ferry unit ww2

Hello all
Where can I find information about this No 4 unit in ww2 (book...)
I have loss of Spitfire on 18.02.45. (ferry flight Catania -Foggia, loss of orientation due to bad weather). Pilot was Lt. Kanyon.
According to information pilot "bailed out" near Slano (near Dubrovnik, Croatia). Unfortunately I don't have any information than this (no. serial...)
Does this unit have digitized ORB.
as always thanks in advance
Antun
