From the WWW,
41-11760 crashed 27/7/42 was this a/c a 98 BG a/c ?
41-11814 - 98BG , Tunisia, 24/7/42.
41-11876, 27/7/42, South Carolina.

Is it possible that the a/c was "814" and that the date was somehow misinterpreted, "4" to "7" ?
