Hello Stig,
On reflection I agree with you and Clint put it in a clearer light. However In the main I think that my original question has been covered . There does not look like any US ships were involved , so thanks to those who responded to my original question. As to the possibility of there being Luftwaffe POWs on board . I would not rule it out. I have wondered why the moderator(s) had not moved the post to the General or Off topic section though ? Sometimes we all have a bad day. Thanks to all those who responded to my post. Alex |
