Nick, I think I might have resolved this as a date issue for von Aspern. The following lists a Hurricane claim at the same time, but S. of London, instead of W. London, only on 27/9/40. Looks like a simple transcription error of a 9 with a 7.

Oblt. Roloff von Aspern: 13 - 5./JG 54
Hurricane - S. of London: 4.500 m. - 10.20 (9.20 BST) - 27/9/1940
OKL+JFV d.Dt.Lw. 4/II-121B
