Could someone identify this Hurricane ? - I don't think that description of that auction is correct "This burning Hurricane was part of a Boston bomber escort, and was shot down when an ME 109 dived on to it from above. The pilot baled out and made a safe landing.
DATE - 27.7.1942 " Maybe it is Hurricane BP120 of 33 Sqn shot downed 24.07.1942 nr El Alamein ? https://www.ebay.com/itm/Original-Press-Photo-...
