Not seen many BR.7s Another interesting post card is this one https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Monoplane...75.c100623.m-1 I have never seen any photo before of the crash It is also interesting to see how quickly a photo could be turned into a post card. Since the accident is usually quoted as happening on the 18th (not 17/7) and the postcard seems to be dated 5th of August, it leaves us with 18 days in between. Does the signature on the back says Gordon? Could it possibly be Gordon England?? No idea, but whoever it was, a bit odd post card to send to what could be interpreted as his sweetheart? What type of aircraft I hear you wonder? Ah yes, the Bristol-Prier two-seater c/n 108. B Rgds Stig |
