Fine article about the Fw190F-8s in Luftflotte 4 during 1944-45
I was unaware of it until today, but there is an excellent article by Andrew Arthy about late-war Schlachtgeschwader operations involving the Fw190F-8 in the May 2021 issue of INFO Eduard. (The PDF can be downloaded here: https://www.eduard.com/out/media/Inf...21-05-enrr.pdf )
The 5-page article focuses on SG2 and SG10 in Hungary from Oct 1944 to Jan 1945, and contains accounts of their successes and challenges, photos, color profiles, and unit strength reports. As always with Andrew's publications, the article is very well researched and cites many primary and secondary sources. Highly recommended to all Schlacht and Fw190 enthusiasts! It's nice to see Eduard publishing material of this quality in their newsletter -- the article accompanies the release of their new 1/48 ProfiPACK kit of the Fw190F-8. Regards, Leon Venter
