RAF Lightning Squadron badge- need help - and is W/C on photo known?
Good morning to all members.
Post-WWII is not my main area and am not familiar too much with this BAC Lightning Squadron marking. Is that of 1, 3 or 111 Squadron? Am trying to identify the Squadron to check who was the pilot, apparently the Wing Commander depicted (so it may be the C.O.) who flew on the 13th September 1966 with the Brazilian Air Force Officer depicted on the left side. Any help in identifying either the Squadron or the RAF Officer is most welcomed. Adriano
