Hello,
Currently on ebay is a photo of Nieuport 11 N.543 at: https://www.ebay.fr/itm/154644798379...IAAOSwDEJhYX8z I know I've seen these markings before,but where? Could someone please put me out of my misery and identify the pilot/unit of this machine? Following offline discussions with Bertrand, I have looked at the following photograph of Voisn Type 3 V.835 from the same seller which appears to bear the same chevron markings as the Nieuport: https://www.ebay.fr/itm/154642230728...4AAOSwuedhXw8a This in turn has led to the following photo: https://www.traditions-air.fr/unit/photo/469.htm So is Nieuport 11 N.543 wearing the markings of V 97 or V 397 as the case may be?
