13 November 1940

Failed to return from sortie and presumed crashed into sea.Crew and aircraft lost. Loss list states Qu. W. 2877. All crew were on loan from 2.(F)/22.

Oblt Albrecht Fuhrmann (pilot), Oblt Peter Schonknecht (observer), Gef Werner Proft (W/T operator), Fw Hans Orlob (engineer) and Sdf Gunther Brack (gunner - war reporter from LwKrBerKp Nr 3 - reported dead 7 January 1943) all missing.

1.(F)/120 A6+WH He111 H-2
