Rudolf Wagner
Hi Jim
I am very grateful for your reply to my question concerning Leutnant Rudolf Wagner. I had just happened upon the information that he was involved in a collision, which is not mentioned in Obermaier, last night and am most thankful for the loss list information that you have posted. Thanks! At least now I know why there is a gap from 6 October to 30 November in his victory list, and why he re-appeared with 12./JG 51. Wagner may not be one of the better known JG 51 aces but he certainly was a "rising star" at the time of his loss. Too bad there is one victory missing in his victory list that I have. That is frustrating to some extent but nothing one can do. Many thanks for your generous help once again! Horrido! Leo
