Additional navigational lights on night fighters - colours

Hello,

Apparently some aircraft converted to night fighters received additional lamps on wing tips, below and above fuselage. The lamps above and below fuselage was white - but were the extra wing tip lights also white (e.g. formation lights) or where they red/green? Has anyone seen anything in any document related to this?
