Hi,
The Karlsruhe Collection was a library of German documents assembled for the USAF German Air Force Monograph project housed in Karlsruhe, Germany. They were used as a source for people like Hermann Plocher and others to write the US Air Force historical series, some of which were translated and published, but not all of them. Later it became a center where authors like Balke, Gundelach, Brekken and Kurowski did their research in the 60's, and 70's. Then the original documents were transferred to the BA/MA where they were re-cataloged. Some of these documents were copied and stored at NARA. What I have been finding out is that a complete set was copied and is at AFHRA. Which is why I asked here if anyone knew about whether the
Genst.Gen.Qu.6.Abt. loss list ever a part of the Karlsruhe Collection ? So if Larry is right, the answer is no, it never was.
Thanks again,
oquaig
P.S.
By the way, thanks for the Eckert book reference Larry!
