Fighter Activity over UK 6/7th June 1943

Hi,

A 620 Squadron Stirling was attacked twice by a 'fighter' while on a 'Bullseye' flight on the above date. The info I have been given suggests it was over the English coast. Was there any Germans units operating over England at this time?

TIA

Steve
