Nice to see this thread come to life again.

Many thanks indeed for the info on the Stakas and for the link regarding the upcoming books on this matter.
Another book in the offing concerning the Stalingrad Airlift is:
'Stalingrad Airlift 1942-43: The Luftwaffe's Broken Promise to Sixth Army' - Hiestand/Tooby (https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/1472854....v_ov_lig_dp_it)

It will be good to have some more books published on the subject.
