Target tow aircraft

Hello,

I'm working on the Flak school at Ramouville (Quiberville sur Mer) in Seine Inferieure (now Seine Maritime) in France.
I would like to know the types of aircraft that were used to tow the targets for target practice and also to which units they belonged.
Were they based on the ranges?

In advance, thank you for your answers.

Sincerely
François
