P38 of 49th Squadron /14.Group
I'm looking for information about a P38J, serial number 43-28261 flown by 2nd Lt. Quentin A. Teige on May 24th, 1944. The plane was shoot down by a Messerschmitt Me110 on that day over Lower Austria. Please see my post in subforum about the Luftwaffe.
I got the number of MACR. It is 5184, but I do not know the content. Teige's plane was part of 306th Wing/14th Fighter Group/49th Squadron. I'm looking for any kind of information regarding that case like pictures of plane and pilot. Thanks for any help, Kurtl
