Decipher name of a Lt. Col. signed in 1945

Hello,

I am trying to find out the original owner of a photo in my collection. It was taken at Linz Hörsching, Austria, in summer 1945 and is signed by a US Lt. Col.

I am not sure if he was a member of the Air Force or Army, but he had quite a special signature. Is anybody able to identify his name?
