Bf109G6 loss 3rd March 1944 Northern France 412954
Can anyone assist with any information on a Typhoon kill, 3/3/44 in Northern France?
I have some gun camera images and information that suggest its a 109G6 and it occurred over an airfield as the German aircraft was just taking off. I have information that its werks nummer is 412954 or similar. I cannot find what resource to check this with as most of mine is UK soil related. Grateful if anyone has any information on the 109 and possibly the Typhoon squadron and aircraft that completed this intercept. Many thanks Graham
