3./NJG 101 - Bodenplatte
Hello,
The crew of Obfw. Bertsch was the "Lotse" for I./JG 3 during Operation "Bodenplatte". I only have first name of the BS: Gefr. Horst Teschke (source = Manrho/Pütz book). No first name given for Obfw. Bertsch (FF) and Uffz. Kühndel (BF). Just a guess, could Obfw. Bertsch the Obfw Franz Bertsch who received the DKiG on 27.10.42 as a member of 5./KG 27? Hope someone can turn up the first names of these 2 men. Tia and kind regards, Dirk
