Walrus at B-63 Bruges-St. Croix - No. 276 Squadron
Pictures of any aircraft on the little and shortly used ALG B-63 (Bruges- St. Croix) are hard to come by, if they exist at all... Period late October 1944-early November 1944.
In Norman Frank's book "The RAF Air-Sea Rescue in the Second World War" there's reportedly one on page 134, a Walrus "awaits another sortie at St. Croix" I'd be most happy if a forumnite in possession of this book can help me with that picture. Just PM me. Trying to piece together all (rather scant) info about former B-63 in my hometown. Operations (No. 119, 276 and 819 Squadron) from there few and far between due to miserable, soggy state of terrain. Thanks for help. Regards, Leendert
