Arado Ar 64C 09.39

Hello,

Recently looking at Volker Koos Arado Flugzeugwerke (bought following Pawel's thread on the Ar 240) I note that he mentions two Arado Ar 64C with Flieger-Technische Schule 3, S7 +Y21 & S7+ Y22 as of September 1939. I was quite surprised to see examples of this type still extant in September 1939. Were they employed solely for Ground Instruction purposes or actually flown at all? In fact to were most machines with a Flieger-Technische Schule purely for mechanical training of ground crew?

Regards,

Clint
