Officer Careers Summary for 2024
We wish to announce the issue of the 2024 version of the
Luftwaffe Officers Career Summaries on WWW.WW2.dk. This version has added 789 "New guys", and deleted 31 for a total of 6,352 changes. This results in a total number of officers of 93,689. This low increase is due to saturation effects since there are fewer and fewer officer unaccounted for, but mainly due to the fact that the past year has been something of a disaster. My computer (12 years old ) suffered a hard drive failure and a few months later suffered a catastrophic failure, then I had a series of health crises. This resulted in chaos and the loss of about 9 months of effort. Thus the net changes for the past year have been greatly reduced from normal. Hopefully this is the end of the chaos and we will get more done in the next year. Special thanks to Markus Richter for his plentiful updates and corrections... Doug Stankey, LwOCS editor Larry deZeng IV, original summary creator |
