A question RE: a Soviet Pilot

I just gave a 'once over lightly' of the new 'Aces At Kursk' book; in one of the short bios of the 'Ace' Soviet Pilots who flew at Kursk, a side note mentioned a pilot who's father was a diplomat in Germany and that He attended the same school as Wilhelm Batz. After rereading the chapter a few times I was unable to figure out WHO this Soviet pilot was--and my eyesight has gotten a bit bad of late, so I can't really read the fine print.

Anybody 'out there' have an idea who this Soviet pilot was?

Thank you all, ahead of time.
