DÜPPEL / WINDOW / CHAFF used on Bf110 during daylight missions?

Gentlemen,

does anyone think that this is possible?
I have a crashplace in the eastern part of Austria that shows several crumpled pieces of very thin sheet aluminum. Decrumpled you get a strip with ~35mm width and more than 295mm length (but it's broken on both ends, so the original length must be much more).
The crashed aircraft is not identified yet, but according to local reports it must be one of the 14 lost Bf110G-2/R3 of II./ZG1 that flew out of Wels/Austria on May 29th, 1944.
Since I am unable to upload pictures here, I'll give you the link to another forum: https://ww2aircraft.net/forum/thread...n-bf110.64567/
