Bf109 F-4 W.Nr 8694 recovered.
'Schwartz 22' of 5./JG5
Lost to Flak 18th March 1943. Belly landed frozen Lake Oriyarvi, Karelia. Northern Russia. 100% loss, No listed pilot so no doubt picked up by ski equipped Storch. Built Aug/Sept 1941. Erla. Stkz SL+KW. Million dollar question - previous service for 18 months. North Africa? Sicily? Europe? Any previous damage reports. Pics on Bf109 projects & restoration on FB and nice underwater drone video.
