Spitfire Roundel on Wing Panel
Hey guys,
From what I can see...this appears to be: An Early (pre-1942) Type A Roundel that was then converted/overpainted to a later Type C (1945) maybe? Colors suggest pre-1947...I just do not have the diameter at the moment. ![]() My understanding that the lack of yellow ring could also denote mid to late-war, but on a light colored aircraft. Maybe a Seafire? Thoughts on this? TIA Mike |
